If you’re like me and don't have a brilliant graphical design mind (we all have our strengths and weaknesses) then Adobe has for a long time had a wonderful tool for you to use if you want to get a colour scheme that fits well together.
On my new endeavour of First Aired TV Episode Guide, I have been struggling to come up with a good colour scheme, before Kuler it consisted of some Orange colour and White! Now however, although I haven't actually decided on one yet I have been making up some lovely possible complimentary colour schemes on their wonderful colour wheel. See for yourself visit http://kuler.adobe.com/ and create a scheme from a colour, set the base colour to something you like and then set the style to monochromatic or shades. Of course being Adobe it is all based in Flash, so you will need that installed and integrated in your browser.
